Died of Lock-Jaw.
Mr. R. P. Conger died on Thursday of last week at his home near Clarks Mill, from the effect of lock-jaw. Some two months ago while at work at the above mill, he stepped upon a rusty nail which penetrated his foot. The wound soon healed up but has continued sore ever since. About two weeks ago he was taken much worse and was confined to his bed up to his death, all the time suffering the most intense agony.
