Ouida ''Wedie'' Pierce Brian, passed away Aug. 1, 2004 at her residence in Woodville. She was born on Aug. 4, 1909 to Morgan W. Pierce and Anna Killingsworth Pierce in Goldonna, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. B. Brian and her son Charles Brian.

Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita Protz and Carl Protz of Woodville, Marilou Anselm O. and Russell Anselmo of Baton Rouge, LA, and Sue Kelsey and Dale Kelsey of Casa Grande, Arizona; along with 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper, burial will follow on Wednesday, Aug 4 at 10 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, LA. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Aug. 3 from 5 p.m. until service time.

Services were under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home of Jasper.
