Peggy L. (Voss Schuh) Stoiber, age 70, from the town of Plymouth, died peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at her residence.

Peggy was born on May 7, 1952 in Sheboygan; daughter of the late Willis E. and Delores A. (Jaehnig) Voss. She was a graduate of Kiel High School with the class of 1970. Peggy married Steven E. Schuh in Cleveland, WI and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1995. They lived in West Germany for a short time before settling in Elkhart Lake. She married James Stoiber on May 17, 2008 at St. Peter's UCC, Kiel. Peggy was employed with Kohler Credit Union and Mill's Fleet Farm until she retired. She was a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. In her spare time, she could be found crocheting, but most important to Peggy was her family, her grandchildren, and animals.

She is survived by her husband, James Stoiber, Plymouth; six children: Geoffrey (Wendy) Schuh, Plymouth; Stephanie (Todd) Athorp, New Berlin; Katrina (Scott) Weir, Kiel; Jessica (Tyler) Wuestenhagen, Howards Grove; Kevin (Lindsay) Schuh, Sheboygan; and Steven (Sara) Schuh II, Howards Grove; 9 grandchildren: JaLynn (Ian) Syron, Emily, Jacob, and Zachary Schuh, Tierney Athorp, Ryan and Molly Weir and Lydia and Xander Schuh; and one great-grandson: James Syron. Peggy is further survived by her two brothers: Thomas (Karen) Voss and Robert (Judy) Voss; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marjorie (Wayne) Kaiser, Virginia Pfeifer, Donna Dessellier, Barbara (Matt) Lefeber, James Schuh, Mark (Diane) Schuh, Jane (David) Felton, Mary (Dennis) Kennedy and Janice Schuh, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Steve, mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law: Harold and Roberta Stoiber and Hank and Angie Schuh; brothers-in-law: Ronald Schuh, Bill Pfeifer and Glenn Desselier.

Funeral Services for Peggy will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Peter's UCC (424 Fremont St., Kiel). Officiating at the service will be Rev. James McKenzie with burial to follow at Kiel Belitz Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM. The visitation will continue on Thursday morning from 10:00AM until 10:45AM when brief family rites will be held.

A memorial will be established in Peggy's name to St. Peter's UCC as well as the Sheboygan County Humane Society.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Aurora at Home Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Peggy and her family during her illness.
