Michael is survived by his five children: Dondi (Tracie) Monnin of New Bremen, Shawn (Annalucia) Monnin of San Diego, Ca., Wendy Busch of Dayton, Chad Michael Monnin of Florida, Tami Smith of St. Marys, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law; Fred (Jackie) Monnin of Troy, Tom (Karola) Monnin of Versailles and five sisters and brothers-in-law; Mary (Gary) Poor of Versailles, Peg (Dale) Bundy of Covington, Tess (Allen) Coombs of Greenville, Bev (Larry) Mabbitt of Russia and Barb (Keith) Meyer of Russia.
He graduated from Russia High School with the Class of 1967. He worked in the maintenance departments at Huffy's and Sinter Metals and retired in 2010.
Michael was a member of the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713, Celina Moose Lodge #1473 and the Celina Eagles Arie #1291. He enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino and caring for his dog Zoey.
Michael requested private family funeral services. His services are in the care of the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Celina V. F. W. Post #5713, P.O. Box 293 Celina, Ohio 45822
