EDWARD ELMER KOENIG
Edward Elmer Koenig, 41, a Town of Centerville resident, died Saturday, February 1, at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past five weeks.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland,preceded by family rites at 10 am at Stolenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland. Rev. Bernard Geimer will officiate and burial will be at St. Wendel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Koenig was born October 29, 1944 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, son of Jerome and Dorothy Leonard Koenig. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1962. He had been employed at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein for ten years. Mr. Koenig was a printer by trade and owner and operator of Koenig Printing Service in Newton. He was a member of St. Wendel Catholic Church, Cleveland Fish and Game Club and Cleveland Softball Association.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Ronald of Cleveland and Joseph of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Dennis (Shirley) Roehrborn of Sheboygan Falls and Mrs. Lee (Barbara) DeRuyter of Cleveland; four nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon.
Friends may call at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, 5 pm to 9 pm Monday where a parish prayer service will be 8 pm.
