Evon M. Giese, 78, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007, after a short illness. She was born March 17, 1929 in the Town of Maple Valley to the late William and Olivia (Monson) Krumrey. Evon moved to Green Bay in 1942 with her parents from Suring. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1946. On November 27, 1952, she married Norbert A. Giese. They had nine children.

Evon loved cross stitching, sewing, crafts and quilting for her family and friends. She also enjoyed her travels around the state with her dear friend, Rose.

Evon is survived by six daughters and five sons-in-law, Sheri (Ken) Hudson, Wausaukee; Debbie (Kurt) Stein, Dumfries, Virginia; Linda (Glenn) LeFevre, Green Bay; Jenny (Jimmy) Carter, Howard; Bonnie Johnson, Green Bay; and Ellen (Todd) Eherts, Allentown, Pennsylvania; one son and daughter-in-law, William (Stacey) Giese, Maroa, Illinois; 18 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris (Tisch) Johnson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norbert, she was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Michael; her sister, Charlotte; and a brother, Carl.

Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Friday, August 24, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Andrew Kysely officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park.--Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services
