James, known to his family and friends as Jim, made Sheboygan his home and was born there on September 3,1934 to Kenneth and Valeska (Goll) Crane.
In Jim's early years he used his artistic abilities making and selling greeting cards and playing drums in a small country band. He developed a love for horseshoes and always enjoyed a game or two with his friends. He later worked for the Tecumseh Company and also kept busy with his lawn care service.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Betty (Scott) Ruesch and fondly thought of by his three grandchildren; Kyle, Isaac and Paige Ruesch; two siblings; Mildred Campbell and Douglas (Janice) Crane.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Jim are his parents, six brothers; Kenneth, Oakley, Jerrie, Richard, Charlie, Herbert; and one sister; Leila (Kampmann).
Jim's wish was that there be no service. Funeral arrangements are provided by Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home.
