A couple years later Benedicte Olson married Ole Gulickson who had a daughter from a previous marriage.
On January 23, 1903 Benedicte Gulickson passed away at age 78 at Door County, Wisconsin, USA where she is buried in Shiloh Moravian Church Cemetery.
