Daniel Robert Belitz, 38, passed away at UPMC Medical Center in Pittsburgh, after a brief illness on April 20, 2013. Daniel was born March 10, 1975, to Willard and Eileen Belitz at Manitowoc, Wis. Daniel attended Calvary Luthern grade School in Sheboygan, Wis., in 1989. Daniel graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School, Manitowoc, Wis., in 1989. Daniel received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1997 and later received a master of business degree from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, Penn. Daniel began his career with Daman Associates in Sheboygan, Wis., Jackson, Miss. and Pittsburgh, Penn., before moving to National City Bank in Pittsburgh. Daniel was currently serving as a vice president in the analytical area at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh.
On July 16, 2005, Daniel married Amy Stewart at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Monroeville, Penn. Daniel and Amy have two children, Jake Robert and Hadley Rose Belitz. Daniel's love for his family was demonstrated every day in the many ways that he cared for them and told them of his love for them.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Amy; his two beautiful children, Jake Robert and Hadley Rose; his parents, Willard and Eileen Belitz, Cleveland, Wis.; his brother, Scott, sister-in-law, Carmen, and their children, Stephanie, Chelzy and Brian, Cleveland, Wis. He is further survived by his wife's parents, Robert and Tillie Stewart, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Allison and Gary Sargent and their daughter, Lila all of Pittsburgh. Daniel is also survived by his grandmother, Esther Kimmes, Manitowoc, Wis.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Erma Belitz and grandfather, Harvey Kimmes.
The family of Daniel Belitz is thankful for the time that we had with Daniel, thankful to our Lord for now protecting Daniel in heaven and we ask our Lord to one day take us to be with Daniel in heaven. Daniel will be missed by those who love him.
Visitation was on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hart Funeral Home Inc., Murrysville.
