Milton was born on March 25, 1926 in the town of Centerville, son of the late Carl and Adelaide (Wagner) Leiteritz. On April 19, 1947 he married the love of his life, Doris Rucker at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2013 as he held her hand until the last moment.
A fourth generation dairy farmer, Milton was extremely proud of his heritage. He and Doris
owned and operated a very successful dairy operation for many years in the Cleveland area. He had much compassion for his animals and would wake during the night to check on them, as Nicki, his long time German Shepherd companion, waited patiently for him to return.
Milton is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Tod & Diane Leiteritz, Cleveland; Jan & Ann Leiteritz, Newton; Brian Leiteritz, Cleveland; six grandchildren: Kristin and Megan Leiteritz, Stephanie
Leiteritz, Steven Leiteritz, Dusti (Justin) Spagel, Brian Leiteritz Jr.; nine great grandchildren: Joseph, Jr., Mackenzie and Dominic Gorgas, Taylor Leiteritz, Anthony, Kadin, Khoury and Braden Spagel, Andrew Leiteritz; and one sister and brother-in-law: LaVerne & Harlan Albrecht, Kiel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Milton was preceded in death by his soul mate of 65 years, Doris Leiteritz; his father and mother: Carl and Adelaide (Wagner) Leiteritz; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Letha and Leon (Charles) Otto; one brother and sister-in-law: Willard and Fern Leiteritz; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Dorothy Leiteritz, Herbert Erdmann, Gertrude Leiteritz and George Van de Loo; two nephews: Larry Albrecht and Keith Leiteritz; one niece: Karen Erdmann.
