Phil was the nicest person one could ever have met. His unselfishness, kindness, and generosity were renown and overwhelming. I am definitely a better person for having Phil & his family, grace & bless my life.

Philip Chung, age 74, was born in Detroit to Shee and Harry Chung on December 11, 1940. He was the retired co-owner of Chung's Restaurant. Philip was a skier, gardener, patron of the arts, and Detroit sports fan. Throughout his life his family and friends benefited from his generosity, joy, and love of cooking. He died peacefully at home on March 14, 2015.

Beloved husband, father of two sons, grandfather, brother of five sisters, and one brother. He was also a loving and supportive uncle to many nieces and nephews.
