Louis W. Gabsch, 75, a retired Cleveland farmer, died today at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.

He was born Oct. 25, 1883, in the Town of Centerville, a son of Henry and Wilhelmina Leonhard Gabsch. In November, 1908, he married Laura Vogel and the couple settled on a farm in the town of Centerville. They operated the farm until 1937 when they retired from active farming. Mrs. Gabsch preceded him in death on 1946. He was a member of Ss John and Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Elden N. Bode, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in sheboygan's Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland after 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday, and at the church from noon until the time of services.

Survivors include a son, Arno, route 1, Cleveland; a sister, Mrs. Arno Erbstoeszer, of Sheboygan, and two grandchildren. an infant brother and sister preceded him in death.
