Brillion – Mrs. Herman Gutschow, 75, of Brillion, passed away last Saturday following a lingering illness.
She was born March 17, 1871, in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Dreger. She was married to Mr. Gutschow July 8, 1903, in Rantoul town. Mrs. Gutschow was an honorary member of the Ladies’ aid society of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Steinbach, Brillion; two brothers, August Dreger of Collins, and Henry of Brillion, and a sister, Mrs. Mathilda Krueger, of Reedsville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Luecker Funeral home here and at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. V. G. Siegler officiated and interment was made in the Community Cemetery. Members of the ladies’ Aid society attended services in a body.
