She is survived by one son, James Bradley Whitaker of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Nancy Hutson of Pearland; Mike Hutson of Pearland; Julie Hutson of Austin; Sondra Hutson of Preston, Conn.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery on Aug. 11, 2014.
