Irwin Kirk Naylor
SEPTEMBER 14, 1915 - MAY 5, 2014

Irwin Kirk Naylor was born on September 14, 1915 to William and Estella Naylor in Paruna, Oklahoma and passed May 5, 2014 in Orlando, Florida.

He participated in the government's Civilian Conservation Corps where he worked in the reforestation program in his home state which allowed him to contribute to his family's income while recuperating from the devastation of the Dust Bowl. It was during this time that Irwin met and married Mary Ellen Wood on September 10, 1938. They established "Little Valley Farm" in the Balko community and raised their two daughters Estella Sue and Edna Lou. Irwin worked for Beaver County District 3. He also ran a dairy farm and, in his lifetime, cultivated many plentiful harvests.

Irwin was an active member of the Balko community and of Balko Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher, trustee and Deacon for many years. He was a firm believer in giving back to God with not only his tithes, but also of himself, always knowing that God would meet his family's needs.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary; 3 brothers: Lawrence, Alvin, and Freeborn, and sister Nellie Wahl.

He is survived by his two daughters, Estella Blosser and her husband, Garry, Oklahoma City; Edna "Eddie" Dearmin and her husband, Bill, Orlando, FL; one brother Dick Naylor and wife Opal; Grandsons Lendell Blosser and wife Cheryl, Eddy Blosser and wife Lauri, Jason Blosser and wife Tracy, Jack Dearmin and wife Mellonee, Shawn Dearmin, Chris Dearmin and wife Amy; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 1:00pm Tuesday, May 13 at Balko Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Johnston officiating. Graveside service will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
