MICHAEL POKORSKY

Michael Pokorsky, 76, of 1217 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Polorsky was born July 5, 1888, at Manitowoc, son of Jacob and Agnes Schott Pokorsky. He married Jennie C. Ziarnik Aug. 30, 1909, at St. Mary Catholic Church. He was employed as an electrician at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., 40 years and retired in 1955. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Electricians Local 751.
Surviving are his wife, a son James, two daughters, Mrs. Harry Hill, of Manitowoc and Mrs. John Glisch, of Sussex Wis., and five grandchildren. A daughter, five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where at 7:30 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society and members of the Parish.
