Mrs. Anna Pokorski, 71, a former Manitowoc resident, died Saturday at Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate and burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pokorski, nee Anna Kowalsky, was born April 17, 1901, at West Kewaunee, daughter of the late Albert and Mary Bonk Kowalsky. She was married to Edward L. Pokorski May 18, 1920, at Two Rivers. Her husband preceded her in death June 2, 1953. Mrs. Pokorski was a member of the Germania Society of Manitowoc.
Survivors include three sons, James and Arnold, of Phoenix and Donald, of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Len (Violet) Hendricks, of Phoenix; three brothers, John, Edward and Peter, of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Anton Lodel, of Two Rivers, Mrs. Henry DeRoche, of Appleton and Mrs. Martin Nedvecki, of Manitowoc and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening where a Memorial service will be held at 7:15 o'clock.
