CHARLES DUVENECK
(1864 - 1938)

Charles Duveneck, 74, Manitowoc, route 3 farmer, died yesterday at the Holy Family hospital. He had been ill for the past three weeks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Andrew's Catholic church. Burial will be made in the St. Peter's cemetery.

Mr. Duveneck was born March 20, 1864 in Newton. He worked all his life as a farmer. On November 28, 1884 he was married to Margaret Feller, who survives.

Survivors besides the widow include four sons, Peter of Green Bay, John of Manitowoc, Alex of Sheboygan and Ulrich of Newton; five daughters, Mrs. Fred Steffen of Manitowoc, Mrs. Harvey DeValle of Milwaukee, and Mrs. August Pitsch, Mrs. Harold Woodward and Mrs. Ignatz Pitsch, all of Waukesha; three brothers, Alex and Gust of Manitowoc and Ernest of Two Creeks; and 23 grandchildren.

The body is at the Leschke funeral home, where it may be viewed until the time of the services Wed.
