VICTOR THOR, 8, FALLS UNDER WHEELS, KILLED
Mishicot Lad Run Over By Heavy Wagon Saturday and Dies Instantly

Hitching on behind on a wagon tongue of a wagon which was being hauled back of a landed wagon, driven by Ben Hallada, along a country road five miles northeast of Mishicot on Saturday proved fatal to Victor Thor, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thor, when he was jolted from his perch and thrown under the wheels of the heavy wagon. He died almost instantly from his injuries.

Young Thor had gone to the corner cross roads a half mile from the Thor farmhouse for the mail. On his way back home Hallada came along with a team and a load of hay, to which a second empty wagon was hitched. Unnoticed by the driver the Thor lad climbed in behind to take a ride and was jolted from his seat and under the wheels of the second wagon.

The accident happened at a point between Mishicot and Tisch Mills, about five miles northeast of the village of Mishicot.

Besides the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thor, town of Mishicot, three sisters, Evelyn, Lucy and Mary, survive.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday morning at ten o’clock from the St. Mary’s church at Tisch Mills.
