August Eisner, 76, life-long resident of the town of Mosel and former town treasurer and supervisor, passed away Wednesday evening at his home, Sheboygan route 1, after having been ill for several weeks.

Mr. Eisner was born in the town of Mosel May 18, 1860 and was united in marriage with Caroline Quehl of the town of Herman on April 19, 1887. The couple located on a farm in the town of Mosel where they have lived the past years. Having resided in the same township all his life, Mr. Eisner was well-acquainted and enjoyed a large circle of friends.

Survivors are his wife, two sons, Alfred and George of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Spatchet of Grimms, Wis.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elmer Eisner, this city; grandchildren; a brother, Henry Eisner of Wausau; four sisters, Mrs. Otto Wunsch of the town of Mosel; Mrs. Frank Rosenthal, Mrs. Henry Feld and Mrs. Albert Loges of this city. Three children preceded their father in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at the Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home. The Rev. E. R. Krueger of St John's Evangelical church will officiate and interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Funeral Home from Friday noon until the time of services.
