Herbert J. Wunsch, 52, of the town of Sheboygan Falls, died late Wednesday evening at Sheboygan Memorial hospital after a brief illness.
Born in the town of Mosel Dec 9, 1897, Mr. Wunsch was the son of Otto and Laura Wunsch. He attended elementary school there and Central High school in Sheboygan.
He was confirmed at the Lutheran church in Haven by the Rev. Martin Denninger and was married to Edna Wippermann May 21, 1921.
An oil salesman for 16 years, Mr. Wunsch for the past 12 years had been associated with the Sheboygan Falls Co-operative. He was an agent for the Farmers' Mutual Automobile Insurance company and the Town of Wilson Fire Insurance company.
He leaves his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Harvin (Bernice) Hahn, of the town of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Vernon (Bernetta) Hamann, of Sheboygan, and Miss Betty Wunsch, at home; and five brothers, Richard, of Pulaski, Wis., Hugo, of the town of Mosel, Robert, of the town of Sheboygan, Arno, of Sheboygan, and Edwin, of Freeport, Ill. His parents and one brother, Alfred, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran church, of which Mr. Wunsch was a member, in the town of Sheboygan Falls, the Rev. John Abelmann officiating.
Friends may call at the Walter H. Abrens Funeral home in Howards Grove from 10 a.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
