William Lucas Hardisty's wife was Mary Anne Allen born 1840 in Fort Vancouver (this HBC fort was on the Columbia River in Oregon Territory). This post was abandoned when the 49th parallel was drawn in 1846. Mary married William Lucas in Fort Simpson, Mackenzie River District, North West Territories in August 1957. After Her husband's death she remarried Edwin Stewart Thomas (1850-1932) of Rockwood, Lisgar, Manitoba, Canada.
Burial: All Saints Victoria Cemetery near Stonewall MB
