Joseph M. Sell died at 11 a.m. on Sunday at his home in Union Township. Funeral services were held in the M. E. Church, Carrollton, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, and the body laid to rest in the Carrollton mausoleum. Rev. J. H. Longsworth, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Sell was born in Tuscarawas County, but when a lad was brought to Carroll County by his father, Benjamin Sell. Of the eight sons and three daughters in his family, 11 grew to maturity, and he was the last survivor. His wife, who was Isabelle Booth, daughter of James Booth, died in January, 1928. Mr. Sell was 76 last April.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. James H. Brooks of Alliance, Mrs. Henry Baker of Bowerston, and Sadie Sell of the home; a son, Elvie of the home, and seven grandchildren.
