Clarence Elvie Sell, 75, of Rt. 1, Carrollton, died in his home this Wednesday morning at 8:25, after a week's illness. A life resident of Carroll County, he was born June 27, 1897 in Union Township, a son of the late Joseph M. and Mary Belle (Booth) Sell. He was a farmer and for the past 18 years had served as a Washington Township trustee. Mr. Sell was a member of Carrollton First United Methodist Church and Washington Township Grange.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Sadie Sell, with whom he resided; Mrs. Ona Baker of Canton and Mrs. Laura Brooks of Alliance. One sister, Ida Mae, preceded him in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral home here with Rev. John L. Clark officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Carrollton.
