Mrs. John Borck, of the town of Calumet, went to pick wild strawberries on Monday the 20th, inst. Not returning for supper suspicion that something wrong was aroused and 12 or 15 men, with lanterns went in search for her. She was found lying near a fence in the woods about a mile from home, and is supposed to have died from paralysis, heart disease or apoplexy. Although one of her sides was discolored no foul play is suspected. She was about 56 years old and was a widow when she married Mr. Borck. She is spoken of as a very estimable woman.
