I lived most of my live in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area in Oregon. I volunteered for Find a Grave in Hillsboro for a few years, so after 7 1/2 years living in a motorhome, volunteering for Oregon State Parks (mostly), we settled in Florence, Oregon in 2019 and we are back volunteering again for Find a Grave.
Naturally, I have plenty of other hobbies/activities (cooking, canning, gardening, cardmaking, crocheting, knitting, and much more, but my husband and I also love walking and I've always been fond of cemeteries with the history sometimes hinted at on the tombstones. My grandparents used to take us to picnic on their paid-for grave sites in NW Portland, with an incredible view! As a Christian, I rejoice in finding the graves of obvious believers, as I know they have finished the race and are enjoying an eternity with God!
