Wm. J. Holdorf Dies Suddenly On Monday Evening
William J. Holdorf, aged 63, passed away suddenly following a heart attack Monday night at his home, 1716 Washington street, Manitowoc.
Deceased was born March 29, 1879, in Liberty township and on June 15, 1905, was married to Miss Anna Busse of Eaton township. After their marriage, the couple lived for a number of years in this village where the deceased operated a plumbing and sheet metal shop. Later the family moved to Manitowoc where he was employed for a time. At the time of his demise, he was a sheet metal worker at the shipyards in that city.
Survivors are the widow; one daughter, Verona, at home; two sons, Valas of Eaton township and Clarence of Manitowoc; three brothers, Herman and Robert of Manitowoc, and Erwin of Eaton township, and one sister, Mrs. Ferdinand Schwalbe of Eaton township.
Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
