MRS. F. HEINZ DIES AT HOME
Native of County Is To Be Buried Saturday
After an illness of several months, Mrs. Fred Heinz, 40, native of this county,
died Wednesday afternoon at the family home, 2006 South Ninth street. Funeral
services will be held from the home at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and at 2 p.m. from
the German Lutheran church, Rev. Koeninger officiating. Interment will be at
Evergreen.
The maiden name of the deceased was Mary Wicke and she was born in 1892 in the
town of Rapids. She was married there in 1914 to Fred Heinz and they made their
home in Newton for two years and then came to this city to reside. Besides the
husband the deceased is survived by five children, Elmer, Allyn, Alfred, ___da
and Roland, her mother, Mrs. Henrietta Wicke, Rapids, a brother, Gustave of
Rapids, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Bremer of Rapids and Mrs. Albert Goeke,
Newton.
The remains were removed to the South Ninth street home this afternoon from the
Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home.
