“Clifford A. Scott, 80, died yesterday morning in Yuma Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 10, 1894 in Rockford, Ill. and lived at 214 E. 25th St. He had lived here 41 years. Survivors include his wife, Emily of the home; three sons, Howard and Robert of San Diego and Dwight of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; three step-sons, George Snow of Yuma, Jack Snow of Escondido and Paul of El Cajon; a daughter, Madge Grinsell of San Diego; two sisters Lolita Madero of San Diego and Isabel Farry of Chula Vista; and 17 grand-children. Scott was a past grand patriot of Woodmen of the World and a member of the IOOF Lodge. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Kammann Mortuary. Funeral services will be there at 2 p.m. tomorrow with Pastor Verner Billet of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Desert Lawn Memorial Park.”
