BUCKLAND MAN FOUND DEAD IN A CHAIR
Charles G James, aged about 70, was found dead in his chair shortly before noon yesterday by a customer who went to his house for some work. He lived alone a short distance from the village of Buckland, and carried on a shoemaking and repairing business. He was a member of Co. H 10th Massachusetts regiment during the Civil War, and belonged to Ozro Miller post of the Grand Army of Shelburne Falls. He drew a pension for injuries received during the war. He was a very good-natured person who made many friends. He leaves no family.
