Mrs. Jennie Eads, aged 70, of rural route No. 5, Auten road, died at 10:30 this morning in her home. She had been ill since March with a heart ailment. Born in Rushville, Ill., Sept 4, 1863, she came here three years ago.
She was married in 1883 in Mount Sterling, Ill. to James Eads who survives. She also leaves a son, Oliver Eads, of LaPorte, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Hanna Orr, of Kewanee, Ill.; Mrs. Alice Billites of Galesburg, Ill.; and Mrs. Prudent Price of Rushville; and five brothers, Martin, Ernest, John and Robert Yates, of Rushville, and James Yates of Oklahoma.
The body will lie in the L.H. Orvis chapel and the funeral will take place at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev Dewey Rowe will officiate and burial will be in Stuckey cemetery on the Cleveland road.
