Murrell B. Wilkins, a fine Christian wife, mom and grandmother passed away at home Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Mrs. Wilkins was a school teacher in the Montgomery School system for many years following her graduation from the University of Alabama.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Howard Wilkins; daughter, Karen McGuire; granddaughter and greatest treasure, Kelsey McGuire and Kelsey's dad, Eric McGuire. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lloyd, Fairhope, AL; nieces; Jan Lloyd and Jean Cabe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Bess Wilkins; faithful friend and aid, Carolyn Strowder.
Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Suzie Beeson and Nathan Hamilton on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.
