An extraordinary man and patriarch rejoined the love of his life, Friday, March 30, 2012. Ray was born to Elmer and Nellie Johnson in Hanna, Wyo. on March 25, 1934. He attended Lincoln High in Orem, UT and then trade School for diesel mechanics. He enlisted in the US Army served in the Korean War. Ray Married his soul mate, Peggy Annette Smith, July 1956. He was a professional arborist for over 57 years throughout the Intermountain Region, working closely with his brother and best friend, Elmer.

Ray enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends at family cabin. Family meant everything to Ray, he always made sure everyone was taken care of.

Survived by his beloved children; Sherma (Mark) Smith, Bill (Rose) Johnson, Eric (Tiffany) Johnson; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brothers Elmer (Gwen) Johnson. And John Wayne (Sue) Wasberg. Preceded in death by his parents, beloved Wife Peggy, Daughter Laura, Granddaughter Kim and great Grandson Thor. Memorial Services to be held Wednesday, April 4, 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 N., Orem, with graveside services to be held at a later date.
