Born June 11, 1921, in Sheboygan, Harold was a son of the late Charles and Anna Biederwolf Knuth. On Aug. 20, 1942, he was united in marriage to Lilly Roth in Sheboygan. The couple was married for 66 years before Lilly preceded him in death on April 22, 2009.
Harold served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. as a member of the 814 Chemical Company and was stationed in the European Theater. He was a member of VFW Post 9156 and the American Legion Post 83. Harold was a member of the Brown Derby and enjoyed bowling fishing and woodworking.
Mr. Knuth was employed as a woodworker for Nemschoff Chair Company for 21 years, Larson Plywood Company for 20 years, and R-Way Furniture for 11 years. Following his reitirement from R-Way, he worked part-time at Brantmeier Ford for 11 years.
