In 1921 he took over the Standard Oil agency, Cleveland, and was in the business until 1929 when he took over the Belitz hardware store as sole owner.
Survivors are his wife; his mother; a brother, Milton, of Cleveland; and three sisters, Mrs. M. (Edna) Hess of Two Rivers, Mrs. Forrest (Sylvia) Duessing of Sheboygan and Mrs. Herbert (Erla) Schachtschneider of Milwaukee. His father and a sister, Mrs. Hugo (Leora) Stoltenberg, preceded him in death.
Mr. Belitz was a member of the Hardware Implement association and served on the consistory of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland, for three years.
Funeral services will be held at the Stoltenberg Funeral chapel, Cleveland, at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Eldon Bode will officiate and burial will be made in the family lot in St. John's cemetery, Hika.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel from Friday noon until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church until the time of the services.
The Belitz Hardware store will be closed until after the funeral.

Cleveland, Wis.-Wallace Belitz, 49, prominent hardware merchant
in the village, died Wednesday at Sheboygan Memorial hospital.
He had been a patient there for three weeks suffering from a
heart ailment.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday
at the St. John St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland.
The Rev. Eldon Bode will officiate and burial will be in the St.
John cemetery at Hika.
Mr. Belitz was born in Cleveland in 1902, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Belitz. He attended the schools in the village and later
the Washington high school in Manitowoc. In 1921 he took the
agency for the Standard Oil company in the village and in 1929
took over the Belitz Hardware company from his father, and became
the sole owner. He was a member of the consistory of the St. John St. Peter congregation for three years and the Hardware Implement
association.
In 1927 he married Miss Anita Duessing. She survives with his
mother, Mrs. William Belitz of Sheboygan; brother, Milton of
