Andrew Jackson Orrick, 66 years, 4 months and 10 days old.

Warren County Death Records. TN Death Certificate File # 138 said he was born June 9, 1856.

A Warren County native and Jacksboro resident Andrew Jackson Orrick, age 65, passed away October 18, 1922 after an brief illness. He was a traveling Baptist preacher and was born June 6, 1857 to Nancy Orrick and John Rains, the grandson of Allen and Martha (Hardin) Orrick and Eli and Malinda (Price) Summers. In addition to his parents and grandparents he was preceded in death by one son; Howard Orrick and a set of infant twins.

Mr. Orrick married Precilla Caldonia Summers July 10, 1881 in Cannon County.

In addition to his wife he is survived by eight sons and daughters in law; Andrew Morrien (Madge Loretta) Orrick, Albert Pearly (Letha Hester) Orrick, Richard Orrick, Robert Lee Orrick, Isham Wesley (Mary Vennie) Orrick, Doyle (Agness) Orrick, Oscar B. (Willie) Orrick,and John Denton Orrick. Three daughters and sons in law; Ollie Josephine (Aaron) Dyer, Maggie B. (William C.) Talbert and Bessie B. (Marcus) Sherrell.

Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, at Barren Fork Baptist Church, Warren County.

He was my great grandfather.

Sebree's Oldest Citizen, Andrew J. Orrick, Dies. Andrew J. (Andy) Orrick, 97 year old resident of Sebree died Monday night at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

A retired employee of the L & N Railroad, Mr. Orrick was Sebree's oldest citizen. He is survived by his wife Madge; seven daughters, Mrs. Geneva Duncan of Winchester, Tennessee; Mrs. Thelma Boucheillon of Springfield, Oregon; Mrs. Tilma Brooks of Sturgis; Mrs. Betty June Quarterhouse of Sturgis; Mrs. Frances Durbin and Mrs. Billy Majors, both of Sebree and Mrs. Mildred Springfield of Adams, Tennessee; three son, Ross, Harold and Nelson, all of Sebree; two brothers, Albert Orrick of Daylight, Tennessee and Isam Orrick of Homestead Florida; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Vice of Muncie, Indiana and Josie Dyer of Audrarocka, Oklahoma; 45 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

Funeral service will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 o'clock from Tompkins and Son Chapel with Berry F. Major officiating. Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery.
