OGDEN - Scott Wesley Montierth beloved son and brother, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from injuries sustained in an auto – pedestrian accident.

He was born in Ogden on January 19, 1990. Scott is the son of Kathryn Thomas and Wesley V. Montierth. He attended Ogden City Schools and graduated from Washington High School.

Scott was an extraordinary young man with many interests. He was handsome, charming and could light up the room with his smile. Scott had a playful sense of humor. He enjoyed his career as a massage therapist.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathryn and Ken Schoenrock of South Jordan; brother Leland Montierth, Provo; sisters, Lauren Montierth, Ogden; and Taylor Montierth South Jordan; and grandparents, Lee and Bobbie Thomas, Ogden; and Erma Montierth, West Haven.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Wesley.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Shadow Ridge LDS Ward, 1401 Country Hills Dr., with Bishop Brent Muse officiating. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
