Wife of George Wilson Rose (m. 18 June 1846 in Wayne Co., MI). George W. Rose died at Detroit, Mich., on Wednesday, 18th May, in the 35th year of his age. He was the son of the Hon. Robert L. Rose of Ontario Co., NY.

Mrs. Percie Baldwin Rose died at her home in Detroit, Michigan, on Wednesday, July 8th, 1896. Mrs. Rose and the late Mrs. G. W. Willard were "the founders of the present organization of the Girls' Friendly Society in Michigan, and Mrs. Rose was the first Secretary of St. John's Branch, Detroit, which position she retained until about three years ago, when failing health compelled her to give up all active work. She remained however an honorary Associate, and was a Member of the Diocesan Council.

Mrs. Rose was much beloved by all who were associated with her, and her hearty and generous sympathy will be greatly missed.
