Paul P. Leonard (sic), 88, of Cleveland, died early today in St. Nicholas Hospital. Mr. Leonard, a retired North Western Road section worker out of Cleveland, had been hospitalized 2-1/2 weeks.

A native of the Town of Centerville (Manitowoc County), he was born Nov. 17, 1877, a son of the late Joseph and Magdalene Salinsky Leonard. He married Mary Kautzer, Oct. 4, 1911. He had been employed by the North Western road until retiring in 1948. He was a member of St. Wendel's Catholic Parish at Cleveland.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Sylvester and Clarence, both living at home; two daughters, Miss Lorena, at home, and Mrs. Edwin M. Strysick (Virginia), Sheboygan; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anton Biederwolf, Sheboygan, and two brothers, Norbert, Cleveland, and August, Sheboygan. An infant daughter preceded him in death.

The requiem Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Wendel's Church, with the Rev. Jerome Watry, pastor, celebrant. Mass will follow 9 o'clock family rites at the Stoltenberg Funeral Home, Cleveland, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday. A parish vigil will be held there at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
