ROLAND LUTZE
Roland Herman Lutze, 59, of the Town of Centerville, died Friday at Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Henry Koch will officiate and burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Town of Centerville.
Mr. Lutze was born March 27, 1913, in the Town of Centerville, son of Richard and the late Emma Fiedler Lutze. He married Edith Rusch of the Town of Liberty May 27, 1939. The couple farmed on the Lutze homestead in the Town of Centerville. For 13 years he was employed in the pottery dept. of the Kohler Co. He was a member of SS. John and Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland, he served
as elder and was a member of the Married Peoples Society, he was on the Board of Directors of Cleveland Co-op, he was past secretary of the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau and was a member of the Manitowoc County Chapter of Izaak Walton League.
Survivors include his wife, a son and three daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy...by original transcriber); his father, Richard Lutze; two sisters, Mrs. Elroy Klessig, of Newton and Mrs. Emro Lippert, of Tucson, Ariz.
Friends may call at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapels, Cleveland, after 3 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday and then at the church from noon until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Lutze's name.
