MINNIE FISCHER

Mrs. William Fischer, 75, of the Village of Cleveland died Thursday afternoon at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient a week. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland, the Rev. Gerhard Cares officiating. Burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Town of Centerville.

The former Minnie Born was born Oct. 8, 1888, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Adam and Ida Lautenschlaeger Born. She was married to William Fischer of the Town of Centerville Jan. 29, 1907. They farmed in the Town of Centerville until 1944 when they retired and moved to the Village of Cleveland. Mr. Fischer died Aug. 16, 1953. Mrs. Fischer was a member of St. John and St. Peter Church and a charter member of its Ladies Aid Society.

Surviving are a son, Reuben Fischer, on the homestead farm in the Town of Centerville; two brothers, Edwin Born, of Sheboygan and Otto Born, of Cleveland; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday and until 11 a.m. Monday at Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, and from noon Monday until the hour of service at the church.
