Mildred (Nan) Jenkins, 92, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:30 at Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Jay Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Milburn Jenkins; parents, Lonnie and Ruth Johns; sisters, Belle Hunter and Ruby Byrne; brother, Charles Jones.
She is survived by her son, Rhonald "Mickey" (Joyce) Jenkins, of Auburn, AL; daughter, Donna Jenkins (Randy) Johnson of Montgomery; brother, Roland Johns of Fairhope, AL; 3 grandchildren, Chris(Tracy) Jenkins of Auburn, AL, David (Kim )Jenkins of Huntington, CA and Hayden Johnson (Charles) Parker of Montgomery, AL; 4 great-grandchildren, Molley and Ryan Jenkins, Chase and Caden Parker.
Mrs. Jenkins was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery. She was the beloved Matriarch of our family, we will miss her and honor her memory always.
