Isaac Turner, father of Surrogate Turner, and a resident of Fair Haven until three years ago when he removed to Auburn and purchased a home at 11 Jefferson Street, died Wednesday morning at the age of 75 years. He leaves a widow, Mary Ann Turner, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Anna Kirk, Sterling; Mrs. Belle Hemingway, Denver, Colo.; and Miss Minnie L. Turner, Hon. George B. Turner and Cassius M. Turner, all of this city.
His business was that of a farmer and dealer in produce. In politics he was an ardent Republican, in which he ever took an active part, and was for a time collector of the port at Fair Haven
