Mrs. Ann C. (Ronald E.) Gumm, 55, of 1724 Alexander Ct., died Sunday, Aug. 18, 1996 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee, following complications from a lung transplant.

She was born Oct. 21, 1940 in Sheboygan, a daughter of Frank and Genevieve Sonntag Brunnbauer. She attended Holy Name Catholic School and Sheboygan North High School.

On Dec. 27, 1958, she married Ronald E. Gumm at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

Ann was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She was a member of Sports Car Club of America Chicago Region. She enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; three children, Annette M. (Brad) Heim, Howards Grove; Anita L. (Gary) Johnson, Sheboygan; Richard P. (Katherine) Gumm, Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Amy and Kyle Heim, Kelly Johnson, Andrew and Mathew Gumm; her mother, Genevieve Johnson, Sheboygan; three brothers and a sister, Donald (Phyllis) Brunnbauer, Alan (Barbara) Brunnbauer, Robert Brunnbauer, all of Sheboygan; Elizabeth (Tom) Hiebing, Rhinelander, Wis.; five step-sisters, and a step-brother, Mary Ann Gritzmacher and Marge (Jerry) Federer, both of California; Marlene Kollmeyer and Willaim Johnson, both of Illinois; Monica (Ken) Brunnbauer, Sheboygan and Marilyn Johnson, Town of Lima; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank and step-fathers, Oscar Roob and George Johnson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, N. 21st St. & Geele Ave., with the Rev. James Jarumbo, pastor, as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are welcome at Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave., on Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church, on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. A parish vigil service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
