Mrs. George Meyer, 95, a native of the town of Herman, died Monday morning at the town of Meeme, Manitowoc County home of her son, Robert W. Meyer.

The former Karoline Schreiber, she was born on the town of Herman farm of her parents, the late Henry and Margaret Schreiber, early pioneers of the town, on June 3, 1859. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Evangelical and Reformed Church, Schwartzwald, and married there to Mr. Meyer, of Meeme, on Feb. 24, 1884 by the Rev. F. D. Illig. Following marriage the couple operated the Meyer farm in Meeme until the husband's death in 1918. She had been making her home with the son Robert, and his family there ever since.

Prior to her death, Mrs. Meyer was the oldest living member of St. John E. and R. Parish. Active in all church affairs, she was also a charter member of its Ladies' Aid Society.

Surviving, in addition to the son, Robert, are another son, Herman F., of St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Anna) Siemers of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Arthur (Olga) Olm of Sheboygan Falls; 17 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Hugo F. (Meta) Olm, in 1924.

Services will be held Thursday at St. John Church, Schwartzwald, with Dr. Frederick Herzog officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
