Earl William Eigenberger, 84, a resident of Harbor House, went home to be with his Lord on Friday morning, December 24, 2010.
Earl was born April 13, 1926 in Plymouth, Wisconsin to Louis and Elizabeth (Adelman) Eigenberger.
He attended rural grade schools and Plymouth High School.
He was formerly married to Carol Paape of Sheboygan, WI.
Earl worked on farms in the Plymouth area for a number of years. In the 1940's, he moved to Sheboygan and was employed at the Vollrath Co. in the enamel shop. He drove truck for National Tinsel Co. for ten years. He worked as a partner to Bill Schmit in a machine shop in Sheboygan Falls and later at Thomas Industries for 6 years. He returned to the Vollrath Co. and was a machine operator for 24 years until his retirement on April 13, 1989.
On July 28, 1973 Earl married Lorraine Zill of Cleveland. The couple resided in the Village of Cleveland all their married life. Lorraine preceded him in death on February 22, 1990.
Mr. Eigenberger was a member of the Ministry of Peace Christian Center in Sheboygan and the NRA.
Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring old farm tractors, farm machinery and flywheel gas engines with his best friend, Ken Neese.
Survivors include four sons, Rick (Sheila) Eigenberger of Sheboygan, Gary (Diane) Eigenberger of Ashwaubenon, Gerald (Debbie) Eigenberger of Elkhart Lake, and Roger Eigenberger (Betsy Bie) of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Jennifer Wolf, Chandra Eigenberger, Amanda Eigenberger, Joe (Michelle) Eigenberger, and Ryan Eigenberger; four great-grandchildren, Robert, Immanuel, Austin and Chayse; step-children, Charlotte Nieland of Oshkosh, Connie Justus of Sheboygan and Ricky (Sandy) Zill of Sheboygan; and other step-family members who were near and dear to him.
In addition to his parents and wife, Lorraine, Earl was preceded in death by two sisters; two brothers; and a step-son.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Pastor Michael J. Wilson of Ministry of Peace Christian Center will officiate. Entombment will take place in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
