ADDIE LINDLEY HALL

Addie Hall, daughter of Samuel A. and Mary Jane Lindley, was born in Paoli, Ind., on Feb. 6, 1876, and died on Wednesday, June 30, at the age of 78 years, four months and 24 days. She was a birthright member of the Friends church.

On Oct. 2, 1895, she was united in marriage to Joseph Elmer Hall and came to Iowa where she lived the remainder of her life. To this union six children were born: Mrs. Maude Forrest of Leavenworth, Kans., Mrs. Doris Schmalfield of Elmhurst, Ill., Mrs. Mabel Jenkins and Frank Hall of Lucas and John of the home at Oakley. A daughter, Louise, died in infancy.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Elger Newlin of Paoli, Ind., and 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Beardsley Funeral home on Friday, July 2 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. A. E. Beals officiating. Burial was in the family lot at the Chariton cemetery.
