Lowell is apparently buried in a section for infants. He does not have a tombstone, so his name, along with his siblings, was included on his father's tombstone in the same cemetery. The tombstone was designed and paid for by twin granddaughters of Merrill K. Zimmer, Sr.: Gloria of PA and Georgette of WA. In March 2008, the cost of $743.31 was for the father's headstone and the setting fee.

PHOTO ALBUM: "My Vacation"
Photos about 1920: Lowell William Zimmer (Nov 1919 - Jan 1921), Pomona, Los Angeles Co., CA. Photos scanned by Niece, Gloria Odom Trommler of Lancaster Co., PA while visiting twin Georgette Odom Pereira Kammer of King Co., WA, Dec 2013/Jan 2014. The photo album was entitled "MY VACATION" and contained the birth and growing up years of the first three children of Florence Joan AYRES and her husband Merrill Kempster ZIMMER, Sr. (children: Mildred, Winifred & Lowell who died young). One page stated they were living at "1415 E. 5th Street," (Pomona, Los Angeles Co., CA). This album contained photos we had never seen of Lowell William Zimmer and the others. One album page had inscribed "Lowell William." The album was apparently originally owned by Mildred who was the primary focus of the album. The album was then passed on to Mildred's sister Harriet when Mildred died in 2000. Then Harriet died in 2004 and by default Harriet's twin daughter, Georgette, obtained possession of the album which she didn't know she had until the twins were digging thru a closet. (Note: Gloria & Georgette are granddaughters of Florence & Merrill Zimmer Sr. and children of Harriet & George Odom, Jr.) Photos contributed here by Gloria 1-30-2014.
