John and Ann lived and died in Collierstown, a village of widely-separated buildings not far from Lexington, Virgina, and was buried in the cemetery of a neighboring church called "Oxford".
They had a considerable family of children, somewhat eccentric in their dispostions it is said, who scattered themselves over the West and whose histories are unknown to the writer.
