ALGER, May 14 - Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Methodist Church here for Clyde L. Oyler, 79, in charge of Rev. T. A. Ballinger with burial in the Preston cemetery.

Mr. Oyler died from a heart attack while plowing yesterday on his farm near Whitehall, Mich. His body was found about four hours after the attack.

About 25 years ago, Mr. Oyler operated a bus line from Alger to Lima. Later he operated a farm on the marsh near here. He moved to Michigan about 15 years ago.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lenna D. Oyler; four sons, Otto and R. J. of Canton, W. E. of Crystal River, Fla., and C. V. Oyler, Alger; one daughter, Mrs. H. H. Whittekind, El Paso, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Alva Dennis of Pontiac, Mich., 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The body will arrive in Lima tomorrow morning and be removed to the Hanson funeral home in Alger.
